Overview of Services Offered by a Digital Marketing Agency

Digital marketing is the foundation of the marketing strategies of modern-day Philadelphia-based businesses due to its vast potential and effectiveness. However, digital marketing is an enormous realm that can be difficult to navigate for people who do not have a marketing background. For this reason, it would be wise for you to hire a professional digital marketing agency in Philadelphia. Below are some of the most common services that a professional marketing agency would provide you with:

The 4 Most Common Services Offered by a Professional Digital Marketing Agency

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is one of the first services that any digital marketing agency in Philadelphia will present you with. This is due to the fact that almost all of your marketing strategies heavily rely on how good your SEO practice is. A great SEO practice ensures that your webpage gets ranked higher up in online searches, thereby making sure that prospective clients become aware of your business.

Search engine algorithms rank web pages relevant to the searched keyword by weighing in certain factors. A good agency will know in detail about the algorithm, and the factors and so will cleverly make use of those factors to optimize your content so that it appears in the top search results whenever a keyword relevant to your business is searched.

Although it may seem simple, do keep in mind that there are thousands of other businesses that will be aiming for the top spot as well, and so that’s why hiring a professional agency instead of doing it yourself would be a smarter choice.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

SEM has the same primary goal as SEO, to rank your web page higher in the search results, but the approach is quite different. Paying a search engine to place your web page higher up in the results page is the basis of SEM methods.

The first step in SEM is always to choose a relevant keyword for your business, followed by designing advertisements tailored around the keyword. In order to get your ads up into the search results, you bid on the keyword of your choice. The rank of your ad is decided on factors such as how much you’ve bid on the keyword and your ad’s score quality. A capable marketing agency will handle all aspects of SEM for you, ensuring an effective marketing strategy that will bear fruit in a few days.

Social Media Marketing

Social media platforms have the largest amount of traffic, with millions of people surfing through these platforms each day. This essentially makes social media platforms the biggest market for you to pitch your products or services to. Therefore, this marketing tactic is a key part of any business’s marketing strategy.

This marketing strategy usually entails creating and managing social media profiles, running campaign ads, tracking online traffic, graphic designing, copywriting, and much more! Of course, a professional agency excels in all of these aspects with dedicated team members for each stage of the strategy.

Web Designing

A great marketing strategy will be futile if you don’t have a great webpage to route your traffic to. Your webpage is where potential customers know and learn about your services, how to contact you, your certifications, and more. A competent marketing agency will create an effective web page for you; the agency will deal with everything from the coding to the content that goes onto the web page, ensuring a user-friendly and appealing site.

Auto Dealer Marketing: 3 Strategies to Boost Your Sales

Car Dealerships

The majority of car purchases in Philadelphia are made at car dealerships. However, an increasing number of Philadelphians resort to the internet to search for what car make and model they should get along with which dealership they should buy from. This means that the age-old traditional automotive marketing strategies are rapidly losing their effectiveness.

Bearing this in mind, it is clear that in order to stay in business or ahead of the competition, it is essential that your marketing strategy should evolve to keep up with the new trends. In this article, you will learn about the three most effective strategies that will help propel your dealership in Philadelphia to new heights. So without further ado, let’s dive in:

Video Marketing

Before people buy a car, they like to research different car makes and models to get a gist of what options they have. Video platforms such as YouTube are the go-to places for people searching for car-related information. This is because car reviewing videos provide them with valuable information such as the car’s best features, shortcomings, and price bracket. These videos also allow people to thoroughly view the vehicle and get an essence of how the machine looks in real-time.

This virtual tour of the car plays a major role in convincing them what to buy; after all, seeing is believing. This makes video marketing one of the best strategies to boost your dealership sales. You can record videos of the new car models featured at your dealership, what benefits people get when they purchase from you, and where exactly in Philadelphia you are located. This will surely draw in more traffic and will improve your brand image.

Use Customer Reviews to Your Advantage

People will trust and believe other people’s thoughts and experiences even more than the guarantees you offer them. This is due to the fact that they can relate to the writer of the review on a much more personal ground seeing as they both are customers.

Garnering and displaying positive customer reviews on your social media profiles, on your web page, and on car and dealership review sites can be one of the leading factors that will help you gain the trust of potential clients. Once you have their trust, it will automatically generate leads and will also improve your conversion rates.

Aim for the Top Ranks on Google SERP

The only thing that even comes close to customer reviews with regards to earning the trust of potential clients is a high rank on Google SERP. Philadelphians have this pre-programmed persona that any webpage or business that ranks high on Google or any other search engine’s SERP is one of authority and trust.

Therefore, you should employ great SEO and PPC practices as a part of your automotive marketing strategy in an effort to improve your SERP ranking. Moreover, search engines’ first and second results pages get the most online traffic. This means that a high SERP ranking will generate more leads and help you gain potential customers’ trust. All this translates to a more dominant brand image and a more profitable business.

Concluding Thoughts

Properly integrating these strategies into your automotive marketing strategy requires skill, knowledge, and experience. This is why it is better to seek the assistance of a professional marketing agency. The 4 Big Differences between SEO and SEM

SEARCH MARKETING

SEM and SEO marketing are two of the most effective elements of any marketing strategy of a modern-day business in Philadelphia. However, many business owners appear to be unaware of how these two marketing strategies differ. This article will help you understand the biggest differences between SEO and SEM strategies.

What Are the Differences between SEO and SEM?

SEO and SEM have the same end purpose; to get your business website on a search engine’s top result slots. However, the way in which they achieve this slightly differs; the following are some of the main differences between SEO and SEM:

SEM Appears as an Ad While SEO Does Not

On the search engine’s result page, the search results that you are presented with as a consequence of SEO or SEM are distinguishably different. If you invest in SEM to get your business ranked on the result page, your business website appears as an advertisement with an icon saying “Ad” labeling it so. Meanwhile, if you use SEO, on the other hand, no such marking appears on your business website, and it looks like just any other search result.

SEM Results Have an Ad Extension While SEO Results Don’t

When comparing SEM with SEO, you will notice that other than the “Ad” icon, there is another distinguishable difference in the appearance of the search results due to the two respective marketing strategies. Ad extensions, which might include additional links, callouts, and phone numbers, often accompany SEM search results. On the other hand, SEO results may appear in search with featured snippets that give the users a quick glimpse into the content of your website.

You Pay Each Time a User Clicks on an SEM Result

SEM strategy is a paid form of advertisement in which you will be charged for each click a consumer makes on your site listed on the result page of a search engine. As a result, you will need to allocate a budget to keep running your SEM advertisements. On the other hand, SEO marketing is an organic form of marketing and so is completely free.

However, it is important to note that with SEO, the competition is very intense, with thousands of businesses competing for a high rank on the result page of a search engine. With SEM, although you do have to bid for a keyword, the competition is not nearly as intense as with SEO.

SEM Gives Immediate Results While SEO Takes Time

Since SEM is a form of paid advertisement, your ad starts appearing on the result page of search engines as soon as you commence your ad campaign as is the case with all forms of paid advertisements. Additionally, you have the flexibility to pause and resume your ad campaign at any time in accordance with your budget and preference.

In contrast, SEO takes time to improve the SERP rank of your website. SEO works by manipulating the rank-determining factors used by search engine algorithms into placing your business website among the top ranks. This is a slow process and can take months for your site to gradually make its way into a noticeable SERP rank.

Concluding Thoughts

Knowing the differences between SEO and SEM strategies is not enough to properly integrate them into your overall marketing strategy. You need the assistance of a professional. Importance of Title Tags to Improve Your SEO and Rank Higher in Philadelphia

Why are Title Tags so important to Philadelphia Businesses?  They are one of the most important pieces of information you can provide a search engine(Like Google) as it tells the search engine what the page is about.  The Title Tag must be unique to each page of your website just as every page on your website should be unique. The search engines definitely dislike duplicate content. A Title Tag ranges from 55 to 60 characters any longer and it won’t get seen anyway as that’s all the search engine displays.  The words in your Title Tag should also consist of top search words that people would use to find your page.  These top searched words should also be listed several times throughout the content of the page which gives the Title Tag relevancy to the page content.  The Title Tag for your page then gets indexed on the search engine and shows up in the top line of your search(see the red arrows in the above image). Too often businesses will put words in the Title Tag that are not listed on the page content…not good for rankings.

Your Metatag Description is just as important as it gives further details in about 150 characters of what the page is about.

So the Title Tag and Metatag Description are very similar as with both you want to use relevant content from the page and try to use the words that people are searching which are relevant to your page.  Remember content is still king in the SEO world so 250 words on a webpage is minimum but 800 words relevant to the Title Tag and Metatag Description will rank even better.

Here is a great article by Christopher Ratcliff that helps to better explain.

How to write meta title tags for SEO

Remarketing and/or Retargeting – Philadelphia, PA

Remarketing and retargeting are two similar digital advertising strategies that are often used interchangeably, but they have slightly different meanings.

Remarketing typically refers to the process of showing targeted ads to people who have already interacted with your website or mobile app in some way, such as by visiting a specific page, adding an item to their cart, or filling out a form. The goal of remarketing is to bring these people back to your website or app and encourage them to complete a desired action, such as making a purchase or filling out a form.

Retargeting, on the other hand, typically refers to the process of showing targeted ads to people who have interacted with your brand in some way, but not necessarily on your website or app. For example, retargeting can involve showing ads to people who have visited your social media profiles or engaged with your email marketing campaigns.
